This is a painting that I did for the Artemis Gallery ‘Sakuras for Japan’charity auction after the 2011 Japanese disaster. Each person involved painted a small wood panel to be sold at auction, with all proceeds going towards Red Cross Japan.
I regretted never getting a photograph of my work, and was happy to see that the Artemis Gallery’s new facebook page had put up images from the show.
The Artemis Gallery is a super little place in North Vancouver.
