I am currently working through a bunch of concept art and character designs for an upcoming project about a gang of street kids set in a fantasy city, and I thought I would share with you some of my sketches.
I am striving to get better at drawing characters consistently from different angles. Profiles are particularily difficult for me. These practice pages are heads of three of my main characters from different angles.
Gristle is the older sister of Grilo. She’s a compassionate young woman with a strong heart. Grilo is a carefree, 5 year old kid whose future is comprimised because of their sister’s involvement in the gang.
Taq is an old friend of Gristle’s who is drifting away due to his increasing involvement in the gang.
Oh and by the way they are Orcs.
